Best Age Group Climbers of the day

Toyota Power Climber Age Group

One climbing contest across every Age Group category, levelled by age.

Who can win it
All Age Group riders
How to win it

Every stage has a timed climb, the Toyota Power Climb. Riders’ average speed on it is raised by a Boost index for their age group, so riders of every age have an equal chance: zero for 19–34, rising to 73% for 75+.

After each stage, the woman and the man with the highest boosted speed win the Toyota Power Climber Age Group jersey. It is one contest across all the Age Group categories.

Win it, and it gets harder to win again: each time a rider is awarded the jersey, the Boost index drops by one age group. For a 19–34 rider it goes below zero (−4%, then −10%, and so on).

Awarded
After every stage. The winners sign their jerseys on the Winners’ Car.

Biggest Mover of the day

Elixirr Challenger

For the riders who fight their way up the field.

Who can win it
Every rider
How to win it

From Stage 2, it goes to the woman and the man who move up the most places that day, counted among all women or all men, whatever their category.

On Stage 2 that is the rider’s Stage 1 position against their Stage 2 position. From Stage 3 it is their overall position after the previous stage against their position on the day’s stage. If two riders move up the same number of places, the faster on the stage takes it.

A bad day isn’t the end of their race. On the first day it was awarded, in 2025, Cameron Wurf climbed 185 places and Beatrice Lehmann 16 places.

Awarded
Daily from Stage 2. The winners sign their jerseys on the Winners’ Car.
